The shad 10’4ft kayak is a kayak ahead of its time, with all its attributes molded into an excellent craft for the avid fisherman and the relaxed paddler who wants to take in the sights.
The Shad is standard fitted with a removable Tool Pod, equipped with the Tool Pod; this is an exciting maneuverable 10’4 fishing Kayak offering you excellent stability. Remove the tool pod and you can fit a fin drive, transforming your Kayak in a few easy steps. Should you wish to add a propeller drive instead, not a problem; the Shad is fully compatible with Fin Drive or Propeller Drive. You have multiple upgrade options in one Kayak. The Shad even have inserts for an electric motor on the Kayak’s stern should you decide to add an electric motor.

Hull Design
When looking at the hull design, stability was paramount, and the flat bottom with Pontoon Hull keeps the Kayak on an even keel and therefore allows confidence to sit or even stand easily. The shape and sleek lines in the hull design allow for much-needed speed and easy maneuverability. The Double Pontoon Hull allows the easy flow of water through the channels, increasing traction and increasing speed.
Rudder System
The Shad has an easy-to-operate adjustable foot control or hand-controlled rudder system and the system is interchangeable from one system to another. The Deep adjustable rudder provides great direct action and limits drift therefore keeping the speed of the Kayak. As a bonus, the Rudder blades are compatible with the Bixpy motor.
Storage Space & Seating
The Shad is equipped with a large equipment hatch at the Kayak’s bow, a round hatch behind the paddler, and a large Tank-Well in the stern, fitted with bungee cords to secure your load. The raised deluxe aluminum seating gives you a slightly elevated approach that assists with paddling and visibility and keeps you dry should there be excess water in the craft. The seating is adjustable to the front or the back and runs on a track system.
Angler Approved
The Shad designed for fishing; we added four embedded angled rod holders to assist with storage and rod positioning. Three accessory rails can take extra fishing rod holders, accessories, or a better still to mount your fish finder. A Fish Finder can be mounted to the Shad easily as there is spacing built into the Kayak’s hull for a transducer and cabling to run comfortably. The transducer plate protects your transducer and under the transducer plate, you will find pre-assembled inserts to secure your transducer.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition, we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at team@PurePaddlee.shop with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.
